I am a ward councillor in Orton Longueville.  I live in the ward and can often be seen walking around talking to residents.  The Ortons are a great place to live with a real sense of community.

I have been a councillor for 5 years and enjoy working closely with both residents and the authorities.  I believe there is always a common sense solution to every challenge.  I believe in facilitating aspiration.

I have been a Cabinet Advisor for 3 years and have actively sought to raise the cultural aspirations of the City.  This has meant working closely with schools and creative organisations throughout Peterborough.  Indeed, I am extremely pleased to see the Peterborough Centre for Young Musicians opening in Autumn 2016 at Ormiston Bushfield Academy.  We need to celebrate all the good things our young children achieve.

I am a trustee at Vivacity, the Nene Park Trust and St John's CIC.  Other citywide responsibilities include Heritage Champion and Cycling Champion.

In addition to my Council duties I chair the Orton Longueville Parish Council and am a school governor at Brewster Avenue Infant and Nursery School.
